A special meeting of the Research and Publication committee (R&P) of Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) was convened on Sunday, 12 April, 2015 with the objective of developing a short term research agenda for BIDS that would reflect national concerns and development priorities of the country. Each of five divisions of BIDS (General Economics, Agriculture and Rural Development, Industry and Physical Infrastructure, Human Resources and Population Studies) highlighted the challenges and policy research gaps facing the country from their particular divisional perspectives.
